RLS (restless leg syndrome)
a sad goodbye
Gina’s (friday’s wedding) gmpa Bogie passed away this last weekend. He made it to the wedding tho, isn’t that incredible? He was such a sweetheart. A pal of mine, brian with four seasons in cda was second shooting and got a gorgeous shot of gina with grandpa bogie. I was told he’s with his wife now and happy. God bless you bogie.
Austin is 1!
my goodness at how time flies! I sure had a blast in the park today with you guys. Lots of laughter, and fun. Did he take any sticks home with him? ha ha. Busy little man. I kinda had something in mind when we found that last tree, and the light was so amazing, i hope you like the end result as much as i did. Charley travel safe, and thank you for protecting our country! Amber, i love the tat on your foot of the dragon fly, way cool. ok ok, here’s a couple sneak peeks of todays shoot. (well, yesterday as its almost 3 am now. )
the light was truly spectacular. People don’t always realize how critical the right light and right time of day are in making your portraits. I couldn’t have done this earlier in the day, no way.
see, this is one straight from the camera, no adjusting. isn’t it lovely ? Again, late afternoon light. ( 6-7 pm)
ok, there is an infestation at the park. no lie. ive never in my life seen so many. makes me think of that game where you boink em on the head when they pop outta their hole ha ha.
Friday the 27th of June Gina and Tom got married!
Their ceremony was at the catholic church in Cd’a and it was very very pretty there. We ran away for a little bit and took some infrared picks out by the lake. Considering how warm it was, Gina was a trooper! Here’s a few for a sneak peek. Thank you again for sharing your day with me.
The reception was at Templin’s resort. The service there is wonderful!
Chrissy and Mike got married! June 28th 2008
Ok, i gotta admit it’s was hot as HECK out there!!! Holy cow. The sweet officiant almost passed out! He got wobbly and his voice got weak, and some guys ran over to him, got him some water and a chair. He was a older gentleman and he had a long heavy black coat on. that was freaky!!! Anyways, the rest was wonderful! Chrissy was amazing. She was down for whatever, and we ran all over C da! We saw some rockin motorcycles and i had her stand by them being all cool and gorgeous, and this one dude comes up behind me and goes ” hey that is my bike right here in front of you and if she wants to she can sit on it or whatever, and you can use it for some picks!” of course i freaked out. he he. It was such a GORGEOUS bike, thank you again John, Your motorcycle is a work of art! Anyways, we had a blast and the day flew by! We went to Tub hill, and to some bars down town and then to the dam. The water is way high and fast, the roar is amazing!
Mike it was so cool meeting you, and Chrissy, i just love ya. Here’s some picks to check out!
hugs!
Lori

Tom and Gina are gettin married friday!
Angie and Keith June 21st 2008
Since they snuck off and got hitched a little while ago, they had another ceremony today for friends and family. I was lucky enough to get to come and play with them. Ang is 5 months preggo, and it was 200% humidity and 400 degrees. She was a doll, easy going and full of smiles and laughter. I don’t think i would have been that sweet. he he. They held it at their aunt and uncle’s place. Carolyn really out did herself, the place couldn’t have been more beautiful. It was trying really hard to rain, but Ang said not until later, so her being the bride and having special powers today, of course it held off for her. way to go!

They are over a month old now, can you believe it. Their bellies are so big they have a hard time walking sometimes. ha ha. They are growin good, and we managed to save 2. We named them sally and frank. dunno why, just seemed to fit them. They have wonderful personalities, and are gettin so fun to watch.
man, i had forgotten how much work and dedication it takes to raise babies from newborn.
Sports
A part of what i like to do is work with kids. What better way than to shoot sports picks? I love soccer especially, my kids have all grown up in it. here’s a couple late teams that we did this spring. Thank you Dan, for coming back to me every year. As a side note, a lot of the kids i shot sports of as 6-7-8 year olds are coming in for senior picks now. I’ve been at it a while i guess.
Cheney Storm
and the Marooners.
todays joke- Thank you Jodi!
Subject: Price of gas
A thief in Paris planned to steal some paintings from the Louvre.
After careful planning, he got past security,
stole the paintings, and made it safely to his van.
However, he was captured only two blocks away
when his van ran out of gas.
When asked how he could mastermind such a crime
and then make such an obvious error, he replied,
‘Monsieur, that is the reason I stole the paintings.’
I had no Monet
to buy Degas
to make the Van Gogh.
See if you have De Gaulle to send
this on to someone else.
I sent it to you because I figured
I had nothing Toulouse.
Thank you Jodi … this one is cool. lol…
Brandi and Tory Reding
Well, Brandi’s sister Christi is a regular client of mine, and her sister loves my work. So, they were going to be in town for a few days and Christi asked if i would do some photos of them since they just got married. Well, of course i will! So, we met up down town spokane and went to my fav places to make some interesting and fun picks.
We shot a while, and while they looked really cute, i just wasn’t feeling it with their clothing. So, i asked if they minded if we ran over to Value Village to see if we couldn’t find some interesting clothing. Of course, being Christi’s sister, she is down for whatever (my kinda people! ha! ) So, off we go.
I get there first and am wandering thru their clothing (formal) wear, and i find this gown.
Good lord.. it’s PERFECT. Red Velvet, classy and lovely
Next, we are off to find footwear… he he… oh, and look, a shawl/wrap.. oh that is perfect also! Tory goes and finds a jacket to go w/ his jeans, he looks good!
WOOT! yeah! we are ready!
So, we go back to where we were shooting before, and the sky is gorgeous, and i know we are gettin late in the the day, so we trudge up a hill, and i get low, and get some fab sky images.
Anyways, I send Christi a email sayin “hey, they are online, have her peek” right?
She emails me back….
OH MY GOD THEY LOOK SO AWSOME!!! THANK YOU!! Brandi is going to DIE!!!! I called and let her know they are online!!
he he.. i think she likes em. So, i will hush now and share.
I like them also. The people and the images. What fun we had.

ps… i didn’t mention.. it had been raining and raining… when i got there, the sun came out and it was PERFECT light.. No lie. . So, now they think i got connections. he he… OoooOOoooo who knows!
Thompson’s new baby Bo
He’s a whole whoppin 5 days old, and already firm in his likes and dislikes! he he, what a doll baby. You know, i LOVE my job. i really do. The simple fact that people share their families and lives with me, is a honor. Thank you all. Meet master Bo, isn’t he beautiful? Welcome to the world little one.
the last few days…
have kicked my asssssss! good lord im beat! I have been working in the yard all day every day. Today we took the bobcat and moved the bamboo, good lord, it was HUGE. Once i had it pulled up i had it on it’s side and took a saw to it. Cut that bad boy down. I divided it out, so i can make a secret garden on the side of the house. It will be SOOO cool. Im going to relay the brick pathway and have it curvy. I think also a cool bench in there somewhere, and some huge leaved plants. then some hangin lights, and ahhhhh.. a hidden bower. i will take some picks to share here in the am. Anyways, i have sore muscles and torn up hands but im sure it will be ever so worth it. We also poured a pad for the pedestal planter urns. I pressed large leaves in the cement, should be cool.
Thank the lord my brother likes to play in the mud right?
the yard is lovely…. spring, ahhhh spring!
I love this time of the year, renewal. Things are blooming and growing, (even the weeds dang!) I ran the weedeater for about 6 hours, and managed a nice new sunburn even tho it was overcast. DOH! Anyways, a friend of mine on my forum posted some flower picks, so i told her i was inspired. Here’s my offering.
I will also offer these on the art blog for sale. thanks for looking!
